The Mai Manó House Bookshop Gallery presents István Fazekas’s series entitled Bird Views of Budapest. Never before shown to the public, these images are a result of several years of creative work between the photographer and writer Mihály Gera.

”Being somewhat restless but overall great models, the birds could talk about István Fazekas. Besides the photographer, they did the most for these images. As you can see, they are the movement; they make the street, the square, and the fluffy become alive. And let me quote Ottó Herman in the end: »There’s a countless number of occasions when a whole-hearted person can take delight in birds.«” – Mihály Gera (1931-2014)

No admission fee.
