In the fall of 2016, as a continuation of the photo project titled 1 Day in Budapest, the Hungarian House of Photography – Mai Manó House organized a photo-shooting event focusing on the motif of water. Photographers participating in the project recorded the presence of water in our everyday life in Budapest on a specific date, September 29, from dusk till dawn.

They captured this element in our personal space, the city’s public spheres, as part of our built environment, as well as in its relation to the encounter between the settlement and nature. (Gabriella Csizek)
